St John's CE (VA) J and I School

Our intent is to develop pupils who…

Are inspired with a curiosity and fascination about the world and its people that will remain with them for the rest of their lives.

Are knowledgeable about diverse places, people, resources and natural and human environments, together with a deep understanding of the Earth’s key physical and human processes.

Understand the interaction between physical and human processes, and the formation and use of landscapes and environments.

Can explain how the Earth’s features are shaped, interconnected, and change over time.

Geography

How do we promote learning in Geography?

Geography is taught in all year groups. It provides a means of exploring, appreciating and understanding the world in which we live and how it has evolved.
