Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing a safe, caring and supportive environment where every child feels valued, listened to and protected. In line with statutory safeguarding and child protection guidance, we work proactively to promote pupils’ welfare and to help them thrive emotionally, socially and academically. Our school vision of “growing together in one family” underpins this commitment, recognising that safeguarding is a shared responsibility between staff, pupils, parents, carers and the wider community.
We take all safeguarding concerns seriously and ensure that they are dealt with promptly and appropriately. If you have any worries about the safety or wellbeing of a child, these can be reported directly to Mrs Grindley, our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), or to Mrs Sanderson and Mr Dinning, our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads. Our team works closely with families and external agencies to ensure every child is supported, safe and able to flourish as part of our school family.
