How do we promote learning in D.T?
We provide varied learning opportunities, which aim to develop not only children’s technical skill in Design Technology; but also to develop their wider knowledge of product design and their ability to apply vocabulary accurately.
What does D.T look like at St John's?
Design Technology is taught in all year groups through at least one topic per term, which includes one topic relating to food.
We aim to, wherever possible, link work to other discipline such as mathematics, science, computing and art.
